Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a traveling photographer based in Chicago, Illinois. My insatiable curiosity means that I love to photograph all the things, and that I am constantly seeking out new knowledge and adventure.
I have 4 boys that always keep me crazy, and depending on the day, you can find me either carting them around or trying to escape them. They are my biggest champions and often my photography guinea pigs. Depending on the day, you might find them trying to escape me and my camera.
I am a huge world traveler and absolutely love the process of planning trips (even those that I don’t end up taking). I think it’s important to expose my family (and myself!) to as many cultures and locations as possible, whether virtually or in person. My family shares my insatiable curiosity and love of learning, so they appreciate diving into the history, food, and geography of each place before we visit.
An educator by training and profession, I have a real teacher’s heart, and love to share my passion of photography with others whenever possible. I teach both online and in person at various conferences and workshops (check out the “For Photographers” page for more info and the latest news!), and love meeting fellow photographers everywhere I travel.
